This chapter includes topics related to sales and collections in an invoice-driven environment. which is characterized by a relatively low cash sales volume, detail customer data tracking, and a greater need for application of balances for later payment.

To accommodate this business model, the program supports a detail contact manager and customer database.    Item descriptions, quantities and pricing need not be defaulted and can be overridden on each transaction, if desired.

In addition, the program can record sales quotes and sales orders, which can be converted into invoice transactions.  Customer RMAs can also be created to approve returns.  Additionally, detailed aging reports, customer statements, collection notices, and finance charges can be processed to assist in collections.
