About Global Price Changes
The Global Price Change screen allows you to easily implement new pricing across all or part of your inventory. Whether permanently changing price levels, or implementing a promotional discount for a temporary period, you can quickly get the policy in place. You also have the added security of a double-check posting process before pricing changes are committed. Most companies would use this feature, especially when changing many items at once.
This feature requires activation in Setup Inventory. Please note that this feature may not be included in your software license.

Q01. | A user accidentally posted global price changes the wrong way and now all of our prices are wrong. How can this be fixed? |
A01. | There are a few ways this can be fixed. Either restore from a backup made before this incident, or go back to the SKUs affected and change the price back or remove the promotion ID code. |
Q02. | Can promotional and price level change be done at the same time? |
A02. | No. Global price change can only change one of the two at a time -- either promotional or price changes. |
Q03. | Why should the price calculations be used? |
A03. | This is simply a matter of personal choice. Some businesses analyze profitability based on a certain markup/margin calculation needed for all items sold. The calculation fields are present as a guide to help the user figure out how much the price of an item should be given other factors. |
Q04. | I don't see my question here. Where else can I get information? |
