About Topic

IIF-formatted files are almost universally accepted by many point of sale and accounting software packages.  The IIF (Intuit Interchange File) format was created by Intuit, makers of Quickbooks as a way to exchange data from their software to others.  A single IIF file can contain information related to customers, invoices, inventory items, and so on.  It can also contain several entries of all types, so one file has the potential to have hundreds of customers, receipts, payments, etc. contained inside of it.

Many software packages can export these files because of their ease of creation. ManageMore supports the importing of these files, which can bring in large amounts of external data for your use within ManageMore.

Q & A - Quickbooks IIF Import

Q01.Does having this IIF import mean that I could have a computer programmer make a separate order software for me and that I can import the information into ManageMore?
A01.Certainly!  If you have a software program created for you or if you elect to use another software package for some function and it can export out information into an IIF file, we can gather that information for your use in ManageMore.

Q02.How do I go about making an IIF file?
Q02.This is an advanced topic, but good explanations can be found by typing "IIF file definition" into any search engine.  You can also find additional information concerning the structure of an IIF file at the following web address: http://www.quickbooks.com/support/faqs/docs/w_iifheaders.html

Q03.I don't see my question here.  Where else can I get information?
A03.Visit our website's Technical Support section.
