About Employee Departments
Departments are used to organize employees. You can enter codes and descriptions for each of the departments, or divisions of your company, then assign those codes to individual employees, to designate their department. Departments can also be used when sending mass internal e-mail messages, allowing you to get the message to one or more groups of employees whom you need to reach.

Full Description
Enter the full description for this department. This value is used to identify the department on lists and reports.
Allow E-Mail to be sent to this department
When checked, will allow e-mail to be sent to this department as a whole.

A01. | If employee departments are used, E-Mail can be sent to a group of employees at once. Also, tasks can be assigned to the entire department, or on a round robin basis within the department. |
